The sun is shining, the temperatures are climbing, everyone is enjoying the smell of fresh air, please remember to still be aware! Be aware of motorcycles on the road this time of year. May is motorcycle awareness month. The goal is to remind motorists to watch out for motorcycles and to remind motorcyclists to be careful. Ohio Highway Patrol Lt. Travis Hughes of the Elyria post says “With about 12,000 registered motorcycle riders set to hit the roads as warmer temperatures approach, ramped up efforts during the spring and summer months are imperative to prevent motorcycle-involved crashes and deaths”.
